Consultancy and Practise Improvement

Our consultancy work, methodology and associate pool are very much geared to the challenges experienced by our clients both now and in the future.

A key premise to iPeople’s consultancy approach is to ensure our Associates are proven Sector specialists with management consultancy skills as opposed to generalists. This we feel is crucial in ensuring credibility and sustainably effective outcomes and not the ‘solve a problem by creating another’ approach that can emerge from a generalist view.

We are careful to take on a wide range of consultancy requirements, typically addressing the following challenges:

  • Improvement – with inspection requirements sharpening coupled with the ambitious requirements organisations have for the communities and customers they serve, the right improvement support is imperative. We offer subject matter expertise along with a critical friend approach and innovative methodologies in keeping with new inspection frameworks.
  • Transformation – whether transformation is required across your workforce, systems or structure our blend of subject matter expertise encompasses the full range of Core Service, Leadership, HR, Business Process, Efficiency and Effectiveness experts as part of our Associate Pool.
  • Audit/ Inspection – we offer comprehensive pre and post inspection support ranging from mock inspections, peer reviews, deep and shallow dive audits and service assessments. Our work in this area is based on new inspection frameworks and offered in a discrete and bespoke manner with practical recommendations in a plain English reporting style.
  • Performance – we offer a series of tools aimed at optimising organisational performance across people, systems or services.
  • Innovation – Alternative Delivery Models, Commercialisation, Integration are all areas in which we have developed effective cases studies and road maps in designing and delivering Service effectiveness and efficiency.

Our methodologies are designed to analyse, challenge, inform and support our clients to achieve their aspirations and overcome the ‘perfect storm’ challenges of rising demand, reducing resource and increased regulatory requirements. Our approach is to offer, enable and embed improvement initiatives, avoiding the dependency creation so often seen with consultants.
